Cleveland Hearing & Speech Center is a non-profit organization based in Cleveland, Ohio specializing in providing hearing services, speech-language and learning, and interpreting and advocacy services through its Community Center for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing program. CHSC has a long and remarkable history of helping individuals with communication challenges become independent members of the Greater Cleveland Community. CHSC consistently serves thousands of children and adults each year through their programs and services.
Serving the Cities of Cleveland and East Cleveland, the Cleveland Baseball Federation is an independent non-profit organization, that has successfully assisted the City of Cleveland’s Recreation Department in the administration of its entire sandlot program. All CBF programs are “free of charge” to any child and young adult (ages 4-18). Playing organized sports aids in the development of responsibility, community, and perseverance. In addition, it provides a necessary respite from the everyday stresses of everyday life and provides youth with a positive team-oriented activity that keeps its participants off the streets and challenges them both academically and physically.
Rooted in a shared passion for service and philanthropy, The Steak Club is dedicated to fighting food insecurity, recognizing the critical need to address hunger in our communities. With over 10,000 hours of community service and a staggering 27,000 meals prepared for those in need is a testament to the collective passion that drives their mission. The Steak Club focuses on strengthening the urban core and lending support to children from families with limited means, acknowledging the transformative power of investing in the younger generation. Lastly, the Steak Club extends their efforts to support individuals with developmental disabilities, fostering inclusivity and empowerment.
Serving over 16,000 meals per year in our area, Meals on Wheels is dedicated to addressing senior hunger and isolation. Meals on Wheels is a service designed to meet the nutritional needs of homebound, disabled and elderly residents, who are unable to shop or prepare meals. Meals on Wheels improves the health and quality of life of the seniors they serve so that no one is left isolated or hungry, giving families peace of mind knowing their loved ones have been visited by a Meals on Wheels volunteer.
