The Challenge

Westcott was looking to implement a CRM and Marketing Hub to better connect with its customers, especially during the critical sales time period of Black Friday and Cyber Monday. 

The Solution

After evaluating several potential solutions, Westcott landed on HubSpot CRM and Marketing Hub software to solve their challenges with an all-in-one system that can track one-to-one communications with customers and also incorporate marketing automation features to streamline customer outreach.

The Results

  • The transition to HubSpot began by importing all existing customers who had previously purchased products via WooCommerce into HubSpot. The WooCommerce integration also automatically pulled in all website purchases into HubSpot as Deals and any new customers as Contacts.
  • Email templates were developed in HubSpot to leverage Westcott’s brand look and feel.
  • Website forms were updated with HubSpot forms to allow visitors to signup to receive the latest Westcott updates via either email or SMS.
  • Leading up to Black Friday and Cyber Monday (BFCM), subscribers were given the chance to signup for exclusive early access to savings – and the opportunity to have their orders shipped sooner after the holiday.
  • This early access period expanded BFCM sales into Thanksgiving Day and greatly enhanced sales over the course of the weekend.
  • Leveraged Black Friday Exclusive opt-in presale to increase sales on Thanksgiving Day.
  • In total for BFCM, there was a 72% sales increase over the same weekend from the previous year
