The Challenge

Robert Roofing’s website was outdated and had extraneous code on the backend that slowed the website speed drastically. Due to the slow site speed, we noticed a high bounce rate from website visitors and a decline in return website traffic. The site was built using a coded WordPress theme that was out-of-date and not user-friendly, making it hard for the team to make edits to the site on their own. They were also unable to keep up with plugin updates, slowing the website even further.

The Solution

Using HubSpot’s CMS platform and Marketplace themes, we were able to customize the website templates to fit Roberts Roofing’s branding while providing a more modern look and feel. We optimized all imagery on the site to help with website speed along with using optimized photo gallery modules. We also moved all of their forms from Wufoo into the HubSpot Marketing platform to keep all of their data in the same place. The new website is easy to maintain on the backend and will stay up-to-date without having to make manual updates.

The Results

Using the HubSpot Marketplace theme template, we were able to get the new site built quickly and launched within three months. Year over year, Roberts Roofing’s website has seen an increase of 40.76% in new visitors, 48.62% in website sessions and 52% in page views. With the site speed optimized, we also saw a 25% decrease in bounce rate and an increase of 18 to 84 on their PageSpeed Insights score.
